Looking for a fun activity for all ages this Sunday? The public is invited to come out to The Lab, which is the home for the Artist’s Laboratory Theatre (1030 S. College Ave. in South Fayetteville across from the Senior Center), at 7 p.m., Sunday, June 11, for another live taping of Sunday Night Service. Viewers are asked to arrive a little early for the taping to start on time.
Sunday Night Service is a performance series recorded live and aired on KUAF 91.3 Public Radio. Sunday’s show will be The All You Need to Know Show: HAIR.” Described as an “informational variety show,” The All You Need to Know Show explores chosen themes through performances of songs, monologues, poetry and an interview with a topic expert. The show hosts, Simone Cottrell and Elliott James, will tell you all you need to know about “Hair” with the help of the talented artists of Northwest Arkansas.
This month’s show will feature actors, poets, musicians, and “Hair” expert including:
- Storyteller Sunshine Broder
- Poet Houston Hughes
- Writer Rachel Lynette, and
Musical performances by Jules Taylor, Jeremy Stuthard, Jason Burrows, and more local artists
- Expert advice by personal stylist and life coach, Carla M. Thompson.
Sunday Night Service also features Singled Out, a musical show in interview format that features the individuals of favorite local bands. A 30-minute version of the live shows air on Sundays on 91.3 KUAF Public Radio at 7 p.m.
