Northwest Arkansas is known for various features and attractions. One of the more famous attractions is the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.

Currently, Crystal Bridges features artist Dale Chihuly’s famed pieces of art in the museum gallery and on the paths surrounding the building through August 14. The exhibition is one of several that find a temporary slot in the yearly cycle of the museum. The outdoor exhibit is scheduled to still be available through November 13.

Crystal Bridges has always reflected the culture found in America as well as the beauty found in the environment. With the temporary Chihuly exhibit, viewers will experience a spectacle of beauty both indoors and outdoors.

See the multiple talents of Chihuly who has traveled and worked worldwide to perfect his styles that include artworks on paper to glass to tapestries. Enjoy a style that adapts to each type of material that reflects both American cultures and the beauty of nature.

Perhaps you can’t go see Chihuly during the day? Not a problem, the Chihuly exhibit is also available during the nighttime hours along the outside path. Viewing the exhibit in the dark will allow viewers to see the art in a particularly different view with electric currents running through some of them.

The Crystal Bridges Museum year round provides viewers an opportunity to see cultures that make up the United States. Art and imagery show both the culture European colonists brought to the states alongside that of the proud Native American culture.

Whether it’s your first or tenth time, each time at the museum brings a new experience when going to Crystal Bridges. Go and see the Chihuly exhibit before it’s gone in August, I know I will be again.
